Port Tampa Bay

The three cruise terminals

Port Tampa Bay runs three cruise terminals, numbered 2, 3 and 6. They are not next to one another and they do not share parking, so which one you are sailing from changes where you drive. Typing the port's name into a satnav will not get you to the right building.

The port publishes the terminal for each departure and we record it against the sailing. That covers 303 of the 436 sailings we track, out to Thu, Sep 30, 2027. Cruise lines sell further ahead than the port assigns berths, so later departures show no terminal rather than a guess at one.

Counted from the port's published assignments. A ship appearing at more than one terminal is normal rather than an error: the port moves berths when two ships from one line are in together.

Port Tampa Bay terminals: questions

How many cruise terminals does Port Tampa Bay have?
Three, numbered 2, 3 and 6. There is no Terminal 1, 4 or 5 in cruise use. Terminals 2 and 3 are on Channelside Drive; Terminal 6 is on McKay Street, north-east of the other two.
Which terminal will my cruise leave from?
Port Tampa Bay publishes the terminal for each departure and we record it: 303 of the 436 sailings we track carry an assignment, running through Thu, Sep 30, 2027. Beyond that the port has not published yet, so we show nothing rather than guess. Your boarding documents are always the final word.
Are the three terminals walking distance from each other?
Terminals 2 and 3 are, along Channelside Drive. Terminal 6 is not: it is north-east on McKay Street with no practical walking route from the Channelside garage.
Which terminal is the parking garage next to?
The Channelside garage at 810 Channelside Drive. Port Tampa Bay describes it as being across the street from Terminal 3, which it calls the central terminal, and the street numbers agree. Terminal 2 is further west along the same road, a short flat walk. Terminal 6 has its own parking on McKay Street.
