Tampa park and cruise hotels

Port Tampa Bay charges for parking by the calendar day, so a 7-night cruise is 8 days in its garage. A hotel that sells a night with parking for the whole cruise can work out cheaper, depending on the room rate for your dates and how long you sail. These are the 15 hotels whose own websites, as they read on October 28, 2026, sell parking for a cruise or a cruise package.

None of them publishes a package price, so compare the total for your dates against a normal room plus the port’s rate in the parking guide. The times in the table are OpenStreetMap driving routes to the terminal building, without traffic.

Which Tampa hotels include parking and a ride to the port?

Five hotels include both in one package.

• The Barrymore Hotel Tampa Riverwalk, downtown: Ship & Shore includes parking for up to 10 days and a shuttle to and from Port Tampa Bay. Show your cruise boarding passes at check-in. It’s 6 minutes from Terminals 2 and 3 by car.
• Quality Inn & Suites Tampa near Fairgrounds and Casino, east of Ybor City: Stay Park and Cruise includes 14 days’ parking and a round-trip shuttle to Port Tampa Bay. It’s 12 minutes away.
• Holiday Inn Express & Suites Tampa East - Ybor City: Park And Cruise includes up to 14 days’ parking, breakfast and round-trip port transportation. Call the hotel on the day you arrive to book the drop-off. It’s 11 minutes away.
• Quality Inn Tampa Airport - Cruise Port, South Tampa: Park & Cruise includes one night, breakfast, 14 days’ parking and a ride to the cruise terminal for up to 2 people, with each extra person $8 one way. Its own site mentions only the ride there, while its Choice Hotels page says the package covers the trip back too. The hotel says to call for rates.
• Sailport Waterfront Suites, Rocky Point: Snooze & Cruise includes a night in a waterfront suite, an airport shuttle, a round trip to the Port of Tampa and 7 nights’ parking, with more nights available. The package’s own page now redirects to a general offers page that doesn’t list it, so ask whether you can still book it.

Two Holiday Inn hotels sell a parking package with the port ride as an extra, $10 a person. The Holiday Inn Express & Suites Tampa Stadium - Airport Area and the Holiday Inn Tampa Westshore - Airport Area both sell Park Stay & Go: one night with up to 4 or up to 8 nights’ parking. Extra nights cost $5 a day at the Stadium hotel and $8 at Westshore. The Stadium hotel’s directions page says its shuttle runs only to and from the airport, which contradicts its package, so confirm the port ride before you book.

Do any hotels near the port include parking for the cruise?

Two hotels within reach of the terminals sell a package built for cruises, and two more come close.

The Barrymore’s Ship & Shore, above, is the most complete. Hotel Haya in Ybor City sells a Sail and Stay package that lets you leave your car at the hotel while you cruise, with a luggage tag and two drinks. It doesn’t say how many days the parking covers or whether it costs extra, and there’s no port ride. The hotel is an 18-minute walk from Terminal 6, or 4 to 5 minutes by car.

The Embassy Suites by Hilton Tampa Downtown Convention Center lists Hilton’s Park, Stay & Go: one night with parking for up to 7 nights, one vehicle per room. That’s Hilton’s wording across its hotels, and Hilton says to check with the hotel about cruise ports. The hotel is a 13-minute walk from Terminal 2.

Hotel Flor’s Cruise and Stay package includes a round trip to the Port of Tampa, but parking is extra. The hotel’s separate Park, Stay, & Go offer, one night with up to 7 nights’ parking, doesn’t mention cruises, so ask whether it covers one.

Which hotels sell parking but no ride to the port?

These hotels will keep your car while you sail, and you get to the port by taxi, rideshare or your own arrangement.

• Staybridge Suites Tampa East - Brandon: Stay Park & Cruise is a night, breakfast and parking for one vehicle while you sail. The hotel lists no local shuttle. It’s 19 to 20 minutes from the terminals.
• Holiday Inn Express & Suites Tampa Airport, Rocky Point: hotel guests can leave a car for a cruise or a flight for $10 a day. It runs a free airport shuttle but no local shuttle. It’s 16 minutes away.
• Tampa Airport Marriott, inside the airport terminal: Park & Cruise, code PSF, is one night with up to 4 nights’ parking, for stays from May 20 to December 31, 2026. It’s 15 minutes from Terminals 2 and 3.
• Embassy Suites by Hilton Tampa Airport Westshore and Hilton Tampa Airport Westshore: Hilton’s Park, Stay & Go, one night with up to 7 nights’ parking and a free airport shuttle. Neither hotel’s pages confirm a ride to the port.

How many days of parking do the packages cover?

From 4 nights to 14 days.

• Up to 4 nights: the Tampa Airport Marriott, and the 4-day Park Stay & Go at the two Holiday Inns.
• Up to 7 or 8 nights: the Hilton Park, Stay & Go hotels (7), Sailport (7, with more available) and the 8-day Park Stay & Go at the two Holiday Inns.
• Up to 10 days: the Barrymore.
• Up to 14 days: the Quality Inn & Suites near the Fairgrounds, the Holiday Inn Express Tampa East and the Quality Inn Tampa Airport - Cruise Port.
• Not stated: Hotel Haya and the Staybridge Suites, which say “while you cruise” and “while you sail”.

Count the nights your car will be there, not the nights at sea: a 7-night cruise plus the night before is 8 nights. Ask whether the hotel night counts toward the package’s parking.

Is park and cruise cheaper than the port garage?

It depends on the room rate for your dates, which none of these hotels publishes as a package price. Price the package, then price a normal room at the same hotel plus the port’s daily rate for every calendar day of the cruise, from the parking guide.

Two hotels publish what it costs to leave a car without a package. The Holiday Inn Express Tampa East charges $75 to leave one vehicle for up to 14 days, and the Holiday Inn Express at Rocky Point charges hotel guests $10 a day. The parking guide also covers off-site lots near the port.
